AccorHotels New Zealand is adding ibis Styles Invercargill to its economy ibis hotel network. The former Invercargill Apartment Hotel is rebranding this October.
The 65-room property caters for leisure and business travellers, offering a range of contemporary studio, one, two and three bedroom apartments with kitchen facilities on each floor of the hotel.
The hotel features a breakfast room, fitness facility, in-house cinema, games room, complimentary wifi internet access and guest car parking.
ibis Styles Invercargill is a 10 minute drive from Invercargill Airport and conveniently located at 15 Tay Street in the town centre.
Chris Sedgwick, senior vice president operations says the hotel is a strategic addition to the network becoming AccrHotels’ 32nd hotel in the country. ‘It will complement our existing South Island hotels in Dunedin, Wanaka, Queenstown, Christchurch and Nelson.’
Ibis Styles is part of the evolution of AccorHotels’ economy brands which has seen the introduction of a three-tiered megabrand with ibis, ibis Styles and ibis Budget.
